Tooling and CI. The week was dominated by a sweep of CI cleanup landing across every supported branch — Master, Zed, Yoga, Antelope, Bobcat, and Caracal — accounting for roughly 8,800 lines of churn. The six changes appear coordinated, refreshing test infrastructure consistently from stable/yoga forward to master. See the master-branch cleanup for the shape of the work.

Stability. Four near-identical backports fix a layer-basic runtime error, propagated across stable branches in lockstep with the CI refresh. A one-line follow-up corrects the test bundles.
