openstack/kayobe — Week of 2026-08-15

Kolla-Ansible workflow split. The largest change of the week reshapes how kayobe drives kolla-ansible, giving install and configure phases a cleaner separation (~350 lines across 1000318). This is the only substantive feature-shaped work merged in the window.

Arista switch fixes. A switch interface configuration bug in the arista-switch role was corrected and backported across four branches in parallel, each landing the same ~16-line patch. Alongside this, the support matrix documentation was tightened with paired fixes clarifying the Rocky Linux 9 note and recording CentOS/Rocky 10 support in 2025.1.

CI pins. Two one-line pins keep ansible-lint below 26.8.0 on the affected branches, and CI switched to the kernel-modules-extra-matched package to keep jobs green.
