openstack/kolla-ansible — Week of 2026-07-11

Neutron and OVN cleanup. The Neutron role shed legacy code, dropping DHCP agent support in ML2/OVN deployments and removing legacy upgrade logic. CI gained an OVN job that runs without vpnaas, and a handful of typo fixes landed in the neutron group vars.

Deployment and lifecycle fixes. A notable ordering change now deploys MariaDB before configuring the loadbalancer, and nova-compute startup after reprovisioning is fixed at 936785. The Podman worker's compare_config picked up a fix for a UnicodeDecodeError, MariaDB's healthcheck start_period was bumped to 120s, and the service-uwsgi-config role learned an env option. Keystone now allows multiple OIDCXForwardedHeaders options, and Glance's chunked-input-limit was increased (twice, via converging patches).

Monitoring and logging. Prometheus gained Alertmanager HAProxy health checks and a fix for the Grafana blackbox endpoint checks, while OpenSearch Dashboards picked up logrotate configuration.

Tooling. The reconfigure CI role was reworked to stop dumping everything to stdout, and two j2lint indentation errors were corrected across templates.
