The fix landed on master and was backported, contributing roughly 370 of the week's 569 lines.

Notification listener. The agent now derives its notification listener pool name from the agent hostname, so multiple agents no longer collide on a shared pool identifier. This too shipped on master and a stable branch.

Config and cleanup. A batch of smaller changes tidies the configuration surface: the deprecated
[ironic]
options are removed, the port option gains a validated range, the password option is hidden from logs, and unnecessary import/register error handling is dropped.
BaseEvent
usage was also replaced in favor of the current API. See the deprecated-options cleanup for the scope of the
[ironic]
removal.

Maintenance. Python 3.10 support was dropped, aligning the project with the current supported interpreter set.
