Manila shares. The bulk of the week — roughly 4,000 lines — landed around virtiofs-backed Manila shares. Cold migration now supports instances with attached shares (989633), share-management logic was extracted out of ComputeManager into its own module, and a reconciliation path was added to detect and repair stale Manila share access rules. CephFS shares also gained per-instance cephx identities instead of a shared credential, and share-usage checks were tightened to only load same-host instances rather than scanning more broadly.

Scheduler and resource tracking. Per-node resource updates in the resource tracker were parallelized, trimming the serial cost of periodic updates on hosts managing many compute nodes.

Hibiscus release plumbing. The 2026.2 "Hibiscus" name was wired in via an alias, the release-notes prelude landed, and the maximum microversion for the cycle was pinned at 2.104. A known-issue release note was also added covering a live migration task leak. Translations from Zanata were re-imported alongside.
